BIOGRAPHY

I was born in a small town in Argentina, surrounded by the sweeping expanse of the countryside, to a family of Italian immigrants. Though my roots are steeped in Italian culture, my art carries the spirit of the land where I grew up. Tiny marks and symbols scatter across my canvases, weaving together cubism, constructivism, and abstract geometry with the essence of my work: the language of colour.

Surrounded by nature’s vastness, with endless horizons and a profound sense of freedom, I found inspiration in large-scale creations. Though I pursued Interior Design at the National University of Litoral, my journey into painting began in my earlier years. It was during my time at the Accademia di Arte in Verona, Italy, that I realised painting was my true calling.

Today, I live in Senigallia, Italy, after journeys through many cities—Milan, Verona, Ancona, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Rosario, and my hometown, Ceres. Each place has left its imprint on me, shaping the vision and expression that flows through my work.

                                                                          VISION

In my paintings, I primarily work on large-format canvases, immersing myself in the intricate and demanding process of creation. Intense, vivid colours dominate my work, drawing the eye while minute details invite a deeper engagement with each piece.

Cubism and geometric shapes frequently inhabit my compositions. At first glance, these forms may appear purely abstract, but as the viewer’s gaze travels across the surface, subtle narratives begin to unfold. Each piece encourages a personal interpretation, inviting the audience to construct their own meaning through the visual language and compositional interplay.

I work with a variety of materials, including pencil, chalk, charcoal, graphite, oil, and acrylic, employing a loose, repetitive style to make marks on the canvas. Linear strokes, marks, and signs laboriously fill areas of the painting, building depth while allowing the canvas to remain visible. This careful balance between positive and negative space, along with the tactile quality of the surface, captures the viewer’s attention. My process is intuitive yet deliberate, with marks and gestures intentionally left on the surface of the canvas, transforming even the background into a vital presence.

There is always an emotional undercurrent in my work—a feeling that resonates through every line, colour, and texture.
